I love this post. Your photos in the mountains are beautiful. That view from the cable car--!! And those cows in their high pasture remind me of the cows we saw high in the mountains of Mexico this spring.

I'm not familiar with Cornelian cherries. They look quite different from the cherries I'm used to--smaller, with a more oblong shape. Do they have a pit? What are they like?
